I’ve been working as a tattooer for the past 5 years, all in Los Angeles. Even as a child I knew I had always wanted to be an artist and have been drawing, painting and sculpting for most of my life. I was born in Mexico City, Mexico but moved to Virginia with my family when I was 6. I came to Los Angeles 10 years ago and have never looked back. During my teens I was very interested in tattooing and experimented with hand poked things but it wasn’t until years later that I would get an apprenticeship with Landon Heying where I learned the basics of tattooing and maintaining a sterile work environment. I cut my teeth tattooing plenty of stamps in Hollywood for a couple years before moving on to working at custom shops where I really had the chance to expand my abilities and really design the work that I wanted to tattoo. I live and work in Pasadena which has been my home for most of the 10 years I’ve been in Los Angeles and couldn’t be happier. I enjoy working in color or black and grey with an emphasis on realistic work fused with traditional and decorative elements. I’m always happy to work with you on a new and exciting piece and promise we can make any idea into a truly beautiful piece of work.
